This is a small website where I can take the opportunity to experiment with a few things that interest me. Among those topics are essay writing, web technologies, space, and artificial intelligence.
This site is built using SvelteKit.
I maintain the site using Visual Studio Code and I currently make use of GitHub Copilot while building out functionality. However, whenever I write prose, I typically turn Copilot off because I enjoy feeling as though my writing is my own direct creation.
(Of course, it is all relative—one might argue that writing with pen and paper or not relying on spell-checkers might be more direct or, “authentic”. That does not even touch on the debate about how much my thoughts are really my own, or whether they are the result of the interaction between my mind and the mind of society, but I digress.)
